Lisa-Marie Richardson, is a Co-Founder of College Admissions Team and brings a wealth of personal and professional experience to her role. Raised in Southern California, she broke new ground in her family as the first to attend college, starting at a community college before transferring to Cal State University, Northridge. Building on her educational journey, Lisa-Marie pursued further studies at UCLA and UCR.
With a background spanning over 20 years in television, Lisa-Marie discovered her true passion in educational consulting. Guiding numerous families in selecting the right schools for their children—from elementary through high school—she found particular fulfillment in navigating her own son through the complexities of the college admissions process. This hands-on experience sparked her transition to become a dedicated College Admissions Counselor and Co-Founder of College Admissions Team.
Lisa-Marie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from CSUN, complemented by a Certificate in College Admissions Counseling from UC Riverside. Her journey underscores her commitment to empowering students and families alike through informed decision-making and personalized guidance.
Linda Dennis, Co-Founder
Linda Dennis, M.A. is a Co-Founder of College Admissions Team, a consulting firm specializing in helping high school students navigate the college planning and application process. As an inspiring and in-demand counselor, trainer, and coach, Linda has taught students of all academic abilities for over 13 years through a unique framework to strategize and create college plans that produce results.
Linda found her passion and life’s work in the field of college counseling - a perfect blend of her interpersonal and analytical skills. As a former private school college counselor, marriage and family therapist, and independent college consultant, Linda’s depth of knowledge and expertise has been highly praised by former students and families alike.
Linda holds a Certificate in Independent Educational Consulting from the University of California at Irvine, a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Phillips Graduate Institute, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Labor Economics from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.
